RHS Professional Work Placements – Applications open

Get the skills and experience you need to prepare you for professional life in the industry by specialising in horticulture with our one-year paid work experience placements

These one-year full-time placements are aimed at those with an existing horticultural theory qualification and practical experience who wish to specialiseIt is suitable for applicants who are completing or have completed a horticultural theory qualification at Level 2 (or equivalent) and have a total of 3 months’ full-time practical experience in the industry.

Earn while you learn

Professional Work Placements are full-time positions paid at or above the National Minimum Wage, which is reviewed annually by the government.

Complete an RHS Level 3 Award (equivalent to an A Level)Whilst on your placement you will be supported to undertake a unique piece of research and write up your findings. The research and write up will be submitted for you to achieve the RHS Level 3 Award in Horticultural Investigation.

The Level 3 Award is one of the three qualifications needed to complete the RHS Level 3 Diploma.

Please note To be eligible to apply you must not already hold or be studying for a Level 3 (or higher) Diploma in Horticulture (or equivalent).
